“It’s never the wrong time to start getting things right.” me
Had a little chat with a photographer friend last night which reinforced the thoughts that were banging around in my head – it’s time to focus on fewer things and get them really right. I need to simplify. Only once I complete something on my list, then should I start something new. I’m going to try! 🙂

It’s just another busy #waterfallwednesday here. 😉

Coquille River Lighthouse, Bullards Beach State Park, Oregon
This lighthouse was my favorite to photograph on the Oregon coast. It just seemed to be pretty from every angle. I spoke to another photographer there and he essentially said the same thing (he never bores of shooting it from different spots and angles) and he lives in the area. So, here I went for a shot no one else seemed interested in, at least while I was there. 😉

happenstance
It took a week for this fire to completely destroy the Golden Poles Chalet – a condo complex in Government Camp, Oregon. I found it randomly on a day that Mt. Hood wasn’t even visible from Govt Camp.

solo
This place took my breath away, and not because I had to walk the (easy) road into it. 😉 I was the only person there that day. Not another soul. I felt like I’d left the planet. Granted it was raining a bit but that’s kinda normal in the PNW right? That snow-dusted peak in the corner makes it seem like it was chilly but it wasn’t bad – maybe 50s F.
