It had been years since I had seen this and I didn’t remember quite how grand the arch was against the St. Louis skyline.

Thanks to Venkata Nagireddi for your infectious enthusiasm and randomly being there, to my aunt and uncle who found this spot, and to the funny and tolerant security guard who shall remain nameless because he let us stay longer than we should.  🙂

These lovely palm trees are in San Diego.  Lots of palm trees where I live too but none look like these pretties.  🙂  I’m off to one of my favorite places to shoot today – botanical garden and butterflies.  Hope you all have a wonderful day!

what’s next?

what’s next?

Today marks the last day of the March 2013 scavenger hunt reveals.  It was, as always, a fun, challenging and great learning experience.  I’m really happy with the response I got on my photos this time and that makes the effort put into the hunt feel more worthwhile.  The biggest reason I do it though, is the push it gives me to try new methods and think outside of my personal box.  I certainly did that this round.  🙂

This was my strawberry entry for the hunt. I figure it will also count as my own #selfysunday  shot this week since there is not a mini-theme for this round.

To see all of the amazing shots from all ten categories of the hunt as well as all of the winners, check out Chrysta Rae’s stream.

Now, I need to pick a new project…
