I haven’t done any fun Halloween stuff this year – must make up for that next year. Not that I haven’t done anything fun, just not stuff involving cool costumes and pumpkins. 😉 So, here is a bird photo from yesterday. Enjoy the fun holiday everyone!!
Along the border of Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina the colors of fall just blew me away, turn after hairpin turn, time and time again. Maybe I need to get out (of Florida) more but my face hurt every day from smiling so much at all of the beauty around me! Plus, there are gorgeous waterfalls like this one. I could spend years exploring there and I can’t wait to go back. 🙂
Rarely do I see puppies this young because I focus on shelter dogs that need homes. This is one of only two pups that survived from its litter. It’s a baby Pomeranian (if I remember correctly). Not my puppy (or going to be). My big German Shepherd girl Sasha is still the head of my household and she said no. 😉 I like to adopt older and bigger dogs which are typically not as desired, particularly here in Florida.
This is Odin. He is a Liger – his dad was a lion and his mom was a tiger. His hybrid species is the largest cat species in the world. He lives in an animal sanctuary called E.A.R.S. in Florida now like so many other big cats that used to be “photo babies” or someone’s idea of a pet. I think Odin is one of the most beautiful big cats I’ve ever seen. I’m sad that he has to live out his life in captivity but there is no alternative. At least he is safe where he is now and has large enclosures to roam around in freely.
